Why take risks at all?

Whether or not you consider yourself a risk taker, you take risks every day in the course of your life and work. There are risks associated with everything you do. You can’t avoid risks; you can only minimize them.

How? By getting as much information as you can, talking to experienced, knowledgeable people, doing some soul searching, and considering what you hope to gain from any situation.

Why take risks at all? Because they create opportunity, vitality, and energy in your career and life, and are a necessary step to reaching your full potential.
