“Exfoliate” your spirit. When you get rid of the dead top layers, you facilitate growth and renewal. Take some time off from work if you have it coming – whether you have a traditional job or work from home. Others will somehow survive without you (make arrangements for children or other dependents if necessary).

Time away from work/daily routine gives you perspective and a chance to catch your breath. It’s hard to see things clearly when you’re in the thick of it. Perhaps you’re at a crossroads and not sure where to go from here. Spending some quiet time alone can help to clarify your thoughts, generate new ideas, and help to decide what’s important to you.
