One of the most inspirational videos I have ever seen is Susan Boyle’s audition on Britain’s Got Talent. She had a dream and takes an enormous risk, at the age of 48, by stepping out on that stage. Everyone clearly doubts her ability and is making fun of her before she even starts. But once she opens her mouth and starts to sing, well, the rest – as they say – is history. Susan took a chance on herself in spite of the odds. Even if she didn’t go on to fame and fortune, she was fulfilling one of her dreams to sing in front of a large audience. If she gave into fear and let others’ opinions of her hold her back, she would have never known what she was capable of doing and might have died “with her song left unsung inside of her” – literally and figuratively. Take a few minutes to experience Susan Boyle becoming more alive.

Donna thank you so much for reminding me that passion is the song the soul sings for purpose. This applies to all of us who want to be authentic. I love your new site. Think it’s great, and thank you for the inspiration. I posted the homeless boy and your site on my The Hopeful Healer page on FB to remind everyone that what we do for a living is not necessarily what we do for our life. Yet, sometimes it is. Thanks again.
