Self-Care Part 2

About a year ago, I visited a gifted healer in NJ for Reiki and energy work. I was feeling quite overwhelmed with my family life and demands of my work. After the session, I felt physically and mentally lighter. The next morning I felt compelled to meditate – something I had only dabbled in over the years. I have been meditating daily ever since and it has made a real difference in my life. I have become increasingly interested in meditation and would like to teach it to nurses and others eventually. I plan to attend the Meditation Specialist program offered through Nursing Spectrum/NurseWeek (www.nurse.com). My next challenge – Yoga!
