Remembering Our Nursing Colleagues

As I walked amongst the headstones on this hallowed ground, I felt a mixture of pride and sadness. I also felt an amazing connection with their spirit – and a great sense of legacy – a legacy of honor, of service, and of duty. I had the sense that they were propelling me forward, reminding me that they were always with me in my mission to heal, to teach, and to nurture – and to light the world.
