Sea Girt, NJ (June, 2015) The National Nurses in Business Association (NNBA), the recognized leading professional association dedicated to advancing and promoting nurses in business, recently announced its newly appointed Business Advisory Board. Donna Cardillo, RN, CSP, best known as The Inspiration Nurse, is proud to be among them. This announcement comes at the same time that Cardillo celebrates 20 years as a nurse entrepreneur.
Cardillo states, “I’ve always been an advocate for nurse entrepreneurs and the nursing profession. It’s great to have this opportunity to serve on this prestigious board and make such a difference today for the industry I am so passionate about. I look forward to working closely with other board members and the President, Michelle Podlesni.”
The role of the board is to provide guidance on NNBA’s objectives, goals, and projects and offer resources and mentorship to benefit NNBA’s membership. Goals include assisting NNBA leadership in an advisory capacity as President Podlesni implements long-term planning for the association.
During Cardillo’s 20 years in business, she has seen the nursing profession grow to where it is today. Proud to be a long-time advocate for nurses as business owners and helping nurses gain the respect and recognition they deserve, Cardillo works diligently to share how nurses do so much in addition to being primary caregivers in the hospital.
