Self-healing for nurses

I just read a great article in my local newspaper about self-healing for nurses. The article mentions how stressful nursing can be, leading to burnout. It goes on to say that nurses must be present with themselves in order to be present for their patients. One local hospital brought in a consultant to teach the nursing staff about meditation, massage, deep breathing, aromatherapy, etc. to use for their own healing as well as that of their patients. You have to heal yourself before you can effectively heal others.
