Focus on Living Fully

I encounter many people, especially those over 50, who are fixated on the end of their life. They start to hold back, slow down, resist and reject life experiences because they think, “How much more time do I have?” or “I‘m too old.

That approach to life is a terrible waste of the precious time we all have on this earth. George Bernard Shaw said, “The harder I work, the more I live.” ‘Work’ in this case could be a job or a business or volunteer work or a project (writing a book) or joining a choral group or taking up kick boxing…at any age.

None of us know how much time we have…whether 20 or 90 years old. But when you focus on living fully, you’re not focused on dying. The choice is yours.
