Celebrate Your Own Journey

Illuminated PathI am often asked who my mentor was. I usually chuckle and say, “I didn’t have a mentor. If I had, I probably would have gone farther, sooner.” But I’m not complaining. For some of us, the slow steady climb is the only way we can learn the lessons we need to learn and even make the mistakes we need to make. Each of us is on a different trajectory in life and if we pay attention to the signs, that right path will be illuminated for us. Celebrate your own journey. Don’t compare it to others. And be thankful that it hasn’t ended.
